Our Story
Welcome to The Alex Foundation, where our journey is rooted in compassion and a commitment to supporting underserved communities. We strive to provide resources that improve challenges and assist in times of hardship. Learn more about our mission and the values that drive us.

Our Mission
The Alex Foundation is dedicated to supporting families and caregivers who have taken on new caregiving roles due to fentanyl fatalities. We understand the challenges these caregivers face and the need for stability and guidance for the children in their care. Our mission is to support families in hardship, by cultivating an ecosystem where the child can thrive and succeed.

The Inspiration Behind The Alex Foundation
The Alex Foundation was founded in memory of Alexandria Butler, affectionately known as "Alex," who passed away unexpectedly due to fentanyl. Alex was a vibrant young mother with a passion for helping others, even when she had little to give. Her legacy of generosity and compassion inspired us to create this foundation, with the goal of continuing to blaze the trail she started. She left behind an 8-month-old son, a beautiful spirit and a desire to help her community. Her legacy will live thru The Alex Foundation.

Our Guiding Principles
At The Alex Foundation, we are guided by two core principles: "If you get, give" and "If you learn, teach." These principles reflect our commitment to fostering a cycle of support and empowerment within the communities we serve. We believe in giving back to those in need and sharing knowledge to help others grow and succeed. By embodying these principles, we aim to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of the individuals and families we support.
"The Alex Foundation provided incredible support during a very difficult time. Their compassion and resources made a significant difference for our family."
